Felelős értelmiségiek Klíma Konferenciája / Climate Conference (Professional) II.part

Dear Friends and Followers, As I mentioned in my last article I would like to write down a summary of a Climate Conference (Professionals), where the most of the audiences were adults, middle aged and retired persons and the presenters were professionals, biologist, hidrologist, meteorologist, economist, law professional..., all parts tried to represented themself and their results.

On this wellbuilted conference, where showed sistematicly how to changed our biosphere in an incredibble way and what are the problems of our systems, which we created and based on our life. "The formula is simple like a slap"  Everything is growing exponentially even the Earth's territory. And this caused global social- ecological- economical crisis. We are suffer from continous economical growth because we are following the Business as usual strategy.

• The number of the population is now 7.7 billion and it is growing every year with minimum 82 million people.
• During this 200 years our use of energy is 8x larger then earlier (1 person)
  
• Main problem:  We have started to use the alternative energies (renewables) onyl for complete the fossil fuels because to reach more economical growing and did not invest money to replaced the non renewables, and stop using them. (there were only seemingly measures have been taken because of politics and economical steps)
  
• We have to choose the right way now to avoid the catastrophe, which means that the Earth could step in the Hothouse Earth cycle. ( more than 40 million years earlier: drought, high temperature )
  

The performance was not complete. However, they named that Earth population is growing and we will not be able to keep up the sustainbility in this situation. The reasons could be varoius: tradition, respect of religion, economic growing, lack of education, contraception. and global basic human rights (women & children)

Economical-Political-Ecological Instability

Because of the climate change, many dangerous old and new deseases could appear like Ebola, Plague, Hepatitis ect. everywhere and cause everything ( water, food, sexual connection, animals) It happens in developed and developing countries too.

We spent too much money to cure theese illness ca. 1000 billion $ instead of controling ,

( DAMA: Document, Asses, Monitor, Act)   and try to prevent their appereance, but the budget will be less expensive 1 billion EUR.

In hidrology (Water topic) we need paradigm shift: which means that local problems have got global conditions too. Such as population growing, migration, poluting, carbon dioxide releasig.

That is why we need geopolitical changes to built a new (virtual) trade and transporting of water.

In Hungary the huge amount of precipitation as big problem as the long term of  drought in warm seasons almost. But belongs to these tasks of the infrastructural and institutional systems are missing, or too old, or have already ceased because it was too expensive. (construction of reservoirs at Tisza (The plans have already finished, but the political decision is missing)

Soon the water will be flood 4000 km3 land in this 5-10 years.

Stationing is over, the future will no longer be like the past. 

We realy have to think of how would you like to be living in the future. The methods of growing produces are connected to the water (80%). One giga byte informations have released on every single day and we realy need to share theese information globaly all over the world.

Solutions: Using A.I (Artificial Intelligence) to optimalize the water of distribution, adaptive water management, digital water management, and institutional background (Water Management Research Institute)

The climate's forcasts showed the most pessimistic script in the best case, and the situation could be  further worse with the huge amount of methan releasing. (153%)

During the Holocene, methane concentrations are 50,000 times the average,
which makes the greenhouse effect 25x more intense. (They are aware of about 7,000 methane cones, which are in pre-explosion condition, which is also the reason for the massive forest fires in the Arctic Circles. "

We have always been aware of climate change, but we have not dealt with it, and natural processes have now produced scary changes.

Reports (IPCC) were expected a 2-4 degree winter and 4-7 summer temperature rise in Hungary at least.

To keep the Paris Convention at 1.5 degrees, we need to reduce our carbon footprint. However, forecasting models expected 2020-2050 (2 degrees increase) and 1,5 by 2040

What is important and what is missing from the reports so far, and the root of the problem, is the integrity of Ecology in the legal system. The legal and non-legal regulatory structure is not a good handle on this issue till now.

Formal Regulation in Law

Some of the aspects are not value in the Law like solidarity, partnerships, self-regulations. These are not categorized in the Traditional Law only in the Innovate Law as universal values.

As a consequence, they are not defended, they do not have validity of interest (For example: We can not punish the president because of deforestration, because this is good and useful for the economy and agriculture. Restrictive state resposibilitiy, and the question of fear and responsibility is on the individual level.

With a higher priority of knowledgement and taking responsibility the humans will be able to understand we are creature companions. We are equal with other people, animal or plant we need pro-active views to understand.

There are 2 big problems: the global ecological crisis and the global poverty, which are connected to each other as a consequence.

Because of this we have to take responsibility and we have to form these things like solidarity, praise, humility into valuable. Convert goods into law. This belongs to create a ground for the fair play game,

  catching up, promoting education, and conscious population, family planning. This is very difficult if it is opponent with a country's or government's population strategy. And if there is no incentive power (tax relief or support for joint projects, bureaucratic hurdles)

Furthermore, as we go along in the social problems, the solutions are still missing.

• In the agriculture with growing products is related to the fossil fuels and carbon dioxide release
• Based on the Global Production Systems (like Turism) this is a value creator and there is no intention to change their attitude, they do not want to be looser.
  
• There are no cooperation in global or single way, and this a very serious problem to act collectively.
• the rational strategy is missing
• political changes need (interests and assets) - regardless of party.
